AES- A division of National Auto Parts
Sent a non programable PCM- Computer Module for my Ford Edge
8th of Dec, 2011 by verbalpoo
I found the company online and their website states BBB and satisfaction guaranteed. I called to order the part and was recorded stating that I understood that the shipping and testing fee were non refundable. I sent my part in and the company called me and statedt the processor was bad and couldn't be repaired and I would need a new-rebuilt CPM(computer module). I was assured the rebuilt computer would be programable. I received the new computer and had it put in and took it to Ford to have it programed for my car. Ford called me and said that the module had a VIN number that didn't match my car VIN number. Ford said that usually they could just erase it and put the right number in and it would work. It didn't. Ford called AES and the technician gave him more information. The Ford technician with 15 years experience couldn't make it work. I called AES and they were out to lunch at 9am and said I would be the next person they called. Never called. I called them back and the sales rep. was rude stating Ford just didn't know how to program it. Ford assured me they did and that I would have to purchase a new computer module. Ford talked with AES who agreed to send me my old computer back overnight so I but they never sent it. Ford left them 4 messages with no returned call. I left three messages with no returned call. Then the manager left a message on my phone stating I had someone call and call them all the" N" word and let me know how they were no longer going to work with me. Thes people are CRAZY. I filed a credit card dispute and they sent my credit card company a lie stating that they provided me with a non refundable service, not a part. They lied. I took pictures of the computer and the box it came in. They trick you with the phone recording because it onl'y talks about the non refundable testing, not the part they tell you that you need to buy later. They give this info. to your credit company so it looks like there was no part sold. These people have their scam alomost full proof. BE WARE of this company. They still have not sent me my computer so I could at least get a core charge back from Ford. Also, they have their computer I sent them back. If it really worked how come they couldn't give my money back and resale the part? Scammers!
