As of November 4, 2010 his Web Site is down and it looks like he is ready for another new Web Site to continue his scam. Edward Mara took $49K from me and my family, showed up couple of times, did some framing and that is it. After 11 month the framing has been destroyed by the weather so at this point my house is in ruins, no pool, no brick pavement, and $49K paid up front.

As of Nov 10 I filed a criminal charge against him with the State of NJ, as well I filed complaints with Federal Trade Commission, Division of Consumer Affair, Attorney General Office and Internet Crime Center. Please contact me if you want to participate in stopping this guy

Yes I would. He installed a pool for me last year 2010 and it was a nightmare. A constant battle for him to get here and finish the job. Now my grout is coming all off and my tile around the pool and there is no contact info. for this jerk. And what about my warranty???

I am the latest Ed Mara victim. I contracted Ed to install a 16x36 pool in November 2010. Work had to stop as the weather turned bad (Snow). Since March I have repeatedly tried to have him come and finish. He has the same excuse everytime we talk. "The rain has delayed me getting to you" I finally got so sick of hearing that I went ahead and hired other people to finish. All I have for $30, 000 paid in full is a hole and a fiberglass shell sitting in it. This guy is an absolute criminal scumbag. Call me for more details.
