Educational Funding Company They make unauthorized charges to my credit card. Don't want to stop. Chevy Chase, Maryland |
18th of May, 2011 by User956374 |
My 2 little kids stopped taking karate classes since february, since we returned to Mexico. Since february, I asket the karate school to stop the charges to my credit card. They told me the name of a company I should contact to stop the payments. I contacted them, send them the information they requested to cancel my payments, and so far, after 3 months, they're still charging my credit card. This company, Educational Funding Company and their owners, Nicholas Kokinos, John Cokinos, Mark Cokinos have many complaints in several websites. Just google Educational Funding Company and you'll see what I'm talking about. They have an "F" on the BBB, the worst calification possible. |

I sign my son up for karate in July 2011 at lions den in Philadelphia with Mike. He never said anything about a contract. Mike sign me up for a 1 year contract without telling me, I used my visa mac card to paid, asked if i could quit any time he said yes, paid for March my son didnt go in March. Called to quit in March he said fine, they took the $99.00 for March, called again he said he would credit my account, didnt credit my acccount, took another$99.00 for April, repeatly call no answer, went there talked to Marty, said he fired Mike, told me about the contract gave me a copy, told me he wasnt getting my money, I have to called efc, they laugh, said I had to get my money from Marty. EFC send my a bill plus late fees. My bank is checking into this, hopfully I will get my money back. |
