My first paragraph of this report will be about how this company tried to get me into an interview. I was called about 1 week ago regarding my application with this company. Yes, I did apply to this job and did not know what it was about other than they wanted someone with a degree. The position was for an admissions representative in which there was an information session that I decided not to attend because the recruiter on the phone told me that this position was for people only within the company so I did not attend the information session. She proceeded to tell me about the other job I applied to which was basically a financial adviser. She even told me what the salary was for each job and that was quite surprising to me! I proceeded to tell her that I would be interested in taking the assessment for the financial adviser position after her long drawn out "sales pitch" about the positions. I did take the assessment as this company calls it. I did not take an assessment, but a survey where there are no right or wrong answers which did not make sense to me. I got a phone call about 2 days later from the same recruiter who proceeded to tell me that I passed their so called "assessment". She told me that the company would like to bring me in for an interview, and I accepted with a "yes". She told me that I would receive all the paperwork by email. I waited a day and did not receive the paper work. I emailed he r and she sent it to me. In the email she put that the position is for an admissions representative and not a financial adviser position. This is where it all started to not make sense. I started to research this company and found out this is a sale's job and not a financial adviser position. I am just warning people that this company is making false advertisements about their positions. This is not a job that requires a degree or technical experience as they state in their ad. In my opinion this is telemarketing job making 250 cold calls a day and people hanging up on you for real...lol I cannot believe a company can still be in business like this one!
