I and others ordered custom made cabinets from Eastern Curio in Shanghai. They appeared to be a legitimate website. I checked. Royal Hsu, owner, contacted me and was pleasant, and I sent certified check for five hundred dollars as requested. He kept in touch. Weeks passed, and suddenly Dino Yang from Vanguard , and unknown company, emails me and tells me the cabinet is in storage facility and I must pay fees for storage until inspection by customs. These fees were over thousands of dollars.I found another woman who ordered cabinets and the same thing occured. When Customs did contact us, we were told unless we pay for storage our items won't be released and will go to auction. We reported to Consumer Groups and attorney general with no luck. The storage on containers cost more than our items. Needless to say we felt helpless and furious. I tried to contact Royal Hsu again with no luck. When I called Yang's place, he told me to call a trucker and I did, and he spoke no English. Royal Hsu had told me my item would be delivered directly to my home in upstate NY.
