dressale.com Total Ripoff and complete misrepresentation, Internet |

I recently received some dresses that I'd ordered to use as bridesmaids dresses in my upcoming wedding. Upon seeing the dresses, I was horribly disappointed. They resembled absolutely nothing like what the photo on the website indicated and were an absolute disaster from the waist up. I immediately went to the site to do a live chat so I could see what my options were as far as a refund or exchange. I got no useful information about that but was given the email address so I could contact customer support. I sent them an email and two photos addressing my problems with my dresses. I was given a response that had absolutely nothing at all to do with the issues I am having as well as a request for photos to document as proof. After several emails back and forth and several more photos being sent I was asked to give them several days so they could contact the manufacturer of the dress. I informed them that I would allow that, but I was still very unhappy. They immediately responded back with a statement that it was a beautiful dress except for my complaints and with some changes it would be perfect. I did not order dresses that were going to require changes. I again requested a refund and in the next series of emails was offered a $30 discount coupon to use on my next purchase and that they could do nothing else for me. After requesting the contact information for a supervisor I was then offered a $30 refund in addition to a discount for future use on their site. I have requested a refund in each and every email I've sent to them and keep getting the runaround. At this point I again requested supervisor contact information and added that I will be contacting an attorney if I don't receive the requested information and a full and complete refund. The most recent email asked me to wait a couple of days until the manager returns from vacation. In the meantime, I filed a complaint with an international consumer group and am waiting to hear back from them. These people are nothing but a ripoff who misrepresent their products and should be put out of business. |
