Dressale.com is an Internet scam. I am one of many bridesmaids that are to walk down the aisle to my best friends wedding the week of 5/14/2011. With that said: I purchased a dress in the amount of $164.00 (U.S.) in early March, thinking it would allot enough time for dressale.com to put the dress together. The arrival date they scheduled for me was 4/25/2011 and my dress never arrived. I conversed with sherry on live chat and I expressed that it was imperative that I receive the dress on time since I was part of the bridal party and preparation was key, especially since the dress is being shipped from a country that is a gazillion light years away from New York. Sherry stated that the dress would arrive by 4/30/2011. The ship date came and NO dress. This time I did not want to converse via live chat, so I called the number that I found on their website go figure the number was inoperable. Considering there was now NO number to dressale.com, I went back to using live chat. Below you will see I provided one of my many conversations with a woman named sherry from dressale.com (sorry for any spelling and grammatical errorsI was very upset. Especially when she told me: "maybe you can wear the dress at another event." Really? Is she insane?! VERY IMPORTANT: Call your bank and they will dispute the charges for you and put the money back into your account with 24 hours to 36 hours. Its very important that you also make an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and try looking up information with Interpol. Interpol deals with fraud that spans globally. I called my bank today and they were very helpful!
