| Beware of Malicous Prosecution and how Dr. Mitchel Senft Dentist practice uses Palm Beach County's Tax Payers as his private collection agency. 3 business days after my surgery with him, I was a wanted "fugitive" in south florida and charged with a felony that now follows me every where, as being charged with but not convicted of GRAND THEFT. Are you kidding me! Every employor or back ground check that surfaces this record info. and report is taken back by this event. Ask's who it is to never go near this guy or his office. First and foremost, my arrest was unjustified and I was not guilty of the charges brought against me. More particularly, while traveling home to West Palm from visiting friends in Orlando, I stopped at Dr. Senft dental office in palm beach county, on an emergency basis, because of an extreme pain in my mouth. Upon being examined, Dr. Senft informed me that I needed immediate surgery that would require sedation. Despite my hesitation of being sedated while traveling alone, I agreed to the surgery; which Dr. Senft performed that sameday. The exact details of what transpired are not clear to me as I was heavily sedated and had no one with me to look out for my best interest. Nevertheless, upon completion of the surgery, the Doctor’s office prescribed me medication, gave me a bill, and inexplicably, simply let me go while still sedated. Incredulously, after giving him my in county and local identification, verifiyed by the local sherrif department and only three business days later, the dentist office reported me for theft of services and a warrant was issued for my arrest in connection with same. Over a year later, on a traffic stop in a different County, the warrant was surprisingly executed and spent 2 days in jail. I immediately settled the matter with Dr. Senft's office. As it turns out, while sedated, I purportedly gave the dental office my credit card information and had mistakenly and/or inadvertently made an error on the information. Because the dental office did not make any attempts to reach me, this situation went unknown to me until the unfortunate (and unnecessary) arrest over one year later. Had the dental office taken the time and/or had the consideration to contact me even through apporapraite collections procedures, rather than filing a police report within three days of the surgery, this entire matter could have, and would have, been avoided. Be aware of his price tactics to rope you into the grand theft amount of over $1,200.00 and extreme collection procedures if you do not get the rest of the procedure done by his over priced and terror of a practice in palm beach county. |
