on 05-25-2010, working in the oilfields in texas, i fell on location and injured my lower back, and left elbow. an m.r.i. revealed 2-bulged disks, 1- crushed disk and 3-pinched nerves. my left elbow, i have ulnar nuerophathy, documented by an e.m.g. i am an ex-police officer, went into the oilfields to earn enough money to attend criminal justice courses and get my degree. this injury got in the way of my dreams and major inconveinance to coffmans tank truck serv. in which i was driving a salt water truck for. my point is, i am a 52 yr. old, god fearing, hard working, honest man and have had to work for a living since the age of 12. i have worked all my life and have asked no one for anything, have made it on my own. after my injury, i had to obtain an atty. because texas mutual ins co. was trying to call my injuries a sprain, even after a neurosurgeon named dr. stephen ofori, in lawton ok. stated im a candidate for surgery. i had the luxury on 11-04-2010,being sent to see dr. g. peter foox for an impairment rating by texas mutual ins. co., anyway my being injured told this man of my injuries and told him i needed help so i could go back to work, cuz since my injury i cant work, i tried to go back to work for the stephens co. sheriffs dept. but couldn't pass a physical. i needed help! well dr. foox helped me tremendously, he gave me a 0% impairment rating and had all my workers comp. checks cut off right before christmas. this man is one of the most dishonest, un-ethical, people, i have ever met. i now am seeing dr. andrew garrett at the wol+med back and neck pain centers and as of now, he has me at a 70% whole body impairment rating. i dont under stand all this dishonesty, for i have been an honest man all my life and i dont see why a doctor wouldn't want to help an injured man go back to work, have his routine back and take care of his family the way god expects us to. is there any way to bring this man back to honesty. help me understand!
