DOMAG CONSTRUCTION
DOMAG CONSTRUCTION DOREEN & MARCO GRAW CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OR EXTORTIONISTS ??? Maple Ridge, Vancouver, north vancouver, burnaby, British Columbia Ca
24th of May, 2011 by User574549
We received a telephone call from Doreen Graw of Domag Construction asking if we could design her and her husband Marco Graw a website on May 11, 2011. We could clearly see that they were in desperate need of a website designer. We gave them an excellent deal on a design, as we are a fairly new company starting out. We signed a contract on May 12, 2011 and everything was going very smoothly, until May long weekend. We let our website designer have the weekend off so that he could spend it with his family.
Doreen Graw of Domag Construstion was under the impression that we should be working for her the entire May long weekend.
She sent this email:
____________________________________________________________________________
From:Marco Graw Date:Tue, May 24, 2011 11:31. I tried to call you, unfortunately you are not able to take the phone.
I requested a link with your progress on the 19th , further I requested a link with your progress on the 20th as on the 22nd of May.
If I don't have a link by this evening, which shows clearly your progress, I will cancel our contract because of one sided breach of contract. Further you have pay back our deposit , return all content. Furthermore I will charge you to cover my cost and my time, which I invested in your company. Additional a I claim your company because of fraud. I hope this is clear for you, until now you didn't provided a "wonderful" job. You provided nothing ( as per contract you agreed on less than 1 week) Doreen
______________________________________________________________________________ We Replied with this Email, after trying to call Her. Date:Tue, May 24, 2011 1:55 pmTo:"Marco Graw" Hello there, Doreen, I do not understand your frustrations, I am still awaiting your content information, and also your upload information so that I may upload your website to your web servers.
Unfortunately I was away during the Long Weekend With my family.
I requested this information on the 17th of May, it is now one week later and I have still not received this information. In regards to the progress of your website I have sent several emails pertaining to your websites design and to show you the current status.
Once more here is a link: http://***************.com
I do not appreciate you implying that the services and the company that I work for are being fraudulent, or doing anything fraudulent. I should further state that you requested on the 17th of May that we were not to worry about the time agreed to in the contract.

Doreen's Words from Email May 14, 2011:
"so don't worry about your completion date for now. I will prepare a DVD with pictures and contents for you."
_________________________________________________________________ I am still awaiting content on a dvd from the email you sent me on the 17th of may.I have exceeded our mutually agreed upon contract agreement date by 7 days and I would appreciate your cooperation in completing your project, as soon as possible as I have multiple projects currently under production. In order for us to move forward with your website.
I should also remind you that our agreed upon website page number was 9 and you are currently in excess of 5 at you request. The additional fees for those pages are $50 per page as agreed upon in our contract, content excluded.
(please refer to contract agreement for all terms stated above) I thank you for your understanding.I can be reached anytime at ***-***-****
Regards,
______________________________________________________________________ After all of that was finally over, She decided to call us at 8:30 Pm and start making demands for money or else she was going to call the police and others. We assured her that the services that we are providing are all legally binding via contract agreement. marco Graw then got on the telephone swearing and threatening to cause harm to us if we did not give them money. We could not fully understand the demands that they were making because of there broken english.
But we could clearly understand that they were trying to Extort Money From Us. I am not sure how to obtain the money for the time and effort that I have put into there website design. However in the contract Is clearly stated that the client agrees to cover all attorney's fees and pay a pro rata rate for all services received, if they choose to cancell the contract. It has been signed by Marco Graw of www.DomagConstruction.com and it is a fully legally binding document. Please do not have anything to do with these people, as they will try to extort money from you using intimidation and threats to cause physical harm.
Totally Unprofessional.
