DMC Hotels Dhillon Management Thieves Frisco, Texas |
20th of May, 2011 by User190979 |
This hotel management company should be closed and everyone there arrested. The owners Jag Dhillon, Bobby Dhillon and Scott Nadel are nothing but thieves. They scam vendors, employees and No, They do not pay taxes. They have had 2 hotels close already due to not paying taxes. Yet, if you look at their revenue, they are making money. It just goes in their pocket. Employees are left hanging when the paychecks bounce. They only care about themselves and how much money they can pocket. Utilities in the hotels are turned off due to non payment. They buy time by doing checks by fax, and never submit the check to the vendor until they are forced to do so. If you do business with them, be warned! If you work for them, I suggest looking for another job! |

I worked for this company and they are the worst. They lie, cheat and steal. I used to feel bad for their vendors. They always got ripped off and DMC would just find another unsuspecting vendor. They treat the employees like crap. Payroll bounces.
As they said in the last post. Be warned! |
|
|
Dhillon Management should be shut down! I worked for Scott Nadel and Jag Dhillon in Elko, NV. They are both criminals who will look you in the eye and lie to you. Scott is just Jag Dhillons YES MAN.
They screwed so many contractors and vendors in Elko, we couldn't get someone out to clean our pool. There was no one left that they didn't owe money to.
If you're involved with this company, Run away! You'll be left holding an empty wallet. Our paychecks bounced constantly.
One day they'll get what they deserve. |

Im a vendor who does business with DMC Hotels, and have not had issues of getting payment from them. I would only ask why would someone work for a company that lies cheats and steals? I do service some of DMC Hotels accounts, and understand that there has been change in management due to gross misconduct.
It sounds like to me from theese postings, they are former disgruntled employees. |

On my behalf, I would like to let you know my experience with DMC Hotels. I was an international exchange student from Chile during 2008-2009 and while I was there, I had the wonderful chance to meet Jag Dhillon at one of the company's hotel in Frisco, Tx. A group of 5 Chilean student had the opportunity to work for DMC, while we were in our exchange program and we never saw any inconvenience or mistreatment, furthermore the 5 of us where transferred to different properties each, so I got to go to a Holiday Inn Express in Sweetwater, Tx. where I was a Desk Clerk, then because one of the previous GM at that property was literally "Stealing form the cash drawer” I got to meet Scott Nadel who came to clean that mess. In my opinion he is a great professional, he was my superior at that time, and as a GM he always wanted us to excel in our jobs. Then I was transferred to take over, with Mr. Nadel, of one of the company's motel at Salina, Ks. It is here where I developed a deeper connection with DMC as a provisory GM, this Salina Property needed a lot of help, Mr. Nadel and I did a drastic intervention to it. A lot of money had been stolen by previous managers, besides the mistreated employees and the depth we had with the suppliers. It took us several months to clean that mess and turn the property into green numbers. Unfortunately because of my studies in Chile I had to come back and leave DMC and specially Scott Nadel with this big challenge by his own. I lived in the properties that I worked in, the company (Jag and Bobby) allow that, and from this inner point of view I never saw any of the problems mention above. With this testimony, I would like to point out that, as it is mentioned before, the company has many employees, and is here where the “bad habits” are done sometimes, I'm not saying that all employees or managers are thieves or related, but with a company as big as DMC is hard to watch over everybody, and I think that Jag, Bobby and specially Scott (which is the one that travels and visit the properties around the country) have a very tough job, and because they are the faces of the company get to be the one that get blamed at when something goes wrong. |

To the Chilean exchange students. I guess they were treated a lot worst in Chile to think that DMC is a good company. I know for a fact that this Alvaro had his checks bounce more than one. They were getting pay much less than the minimum wage. Their overtime was paid separately so it will not go on the payroll. One of their illustrious co-student slept around. The vendor giving good references sounds like it was posted by DMC themselves, just to make themselves look good. Every time one of their company goes down, they just open with another name to full the vendors. Their employees don't get their checks until after 3pm, because they don't have money in the bank. They pay with bad checks (which is ILLEGAL). Scott Nadel all he does is talk BS, that is only reason he made it and because he is Jags lil' girl. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. |

I too have had the dissapointment with working for this company, here at our property ( in Oklahoma ) we never got any raises in the 2 years he ownd us, like stated above. we ran out of vendors bc he kept screwing them. our pay checks bounced so much he tried to pay us in cash ( with a 5% cashing fee to his brother who apparently owned a liqour store. he was borrowing money from), the pumps in the pool broke and he just told us to simply "manage" So yes, i would not reccommend working for this company unless you wanna work for free. |

Someone said in an earlier post that the comments sound like disgruntled employees... Of course the employees are disgruntled! You would be disgruntled too if your paychecks bounced on a regular basis. If they sent you money orders for your pay that you couldn't even cash. My bank wouldn't even accept them. I ended up having to pay $55.00 to a check cashing company to even get paid.
The earlier post from the Chilean exchange student has Scott Nadel written all over it, which is a shame. That should tell you the company is dishonest. They can't even write an honest rebuttal.
It was a nightmare working for DMC. Trying to manage their hotels is impossible. You're on your own. Vendors called constantly demanding payment, I would direct them to the corporate office. Of course they have caller ID and would not answer the phone. I have never heard of a company who does that.
Our utilities were shut off more than a few times, taxes went unpaid, the hotel fell apart right before my eyes. We couldn't even get simple supplies for housekeeping and maintenance. We literally ran out of vendors to service our hotel. I received about 5 notices a month from the court because we were being sued.
So, if I see a post from a vendor who says"they have never had a problem getting paid from DMC" sorry, I don't believe that.
It's sad to say, but, Scott Nadel and Jag Dhillon will tell you what you want to hear. I stopped believing anything they said long before I stopped working for them.
It's tough when you live in a small community with not a lot of jobs. You have to stay in a miserable situation until you can find a way out.
DMC will use you until there is nothing left. This post serves a warning to anyone who is considering working for them or to an unsuspecting vendor. |

This has been going on for many years, since 2002. I worked at a property that could never pass inspection. they just changed franchises. Power, cable, water you name it, it was shut off! I am posting because I read an article that said DMC keeping the American dream alive. Really! They are not even us citizens!! Get your facts straight reporters. |
|
|
ha ha. i heard these stupid motherfuckers are going to jail, finally! i hear jag is a dope runner and got busted for coke, insurance fraud (no doubt from his sherman, tx holiday inn incident) hot checks and money laundering. Ha to the fucking Ha. the only positive posts on here were made by the loosers themselves. CAMAIRAS? really? and yes i worked for the bastards and my advice is not only run but punch the motherfukers in the dot on their head and kick them in the pussy for me please. |

I read the article too and is full of lies. Scott Nadel did not start in the company in 2007, he started in January 2009 as the GM for their Sweetwater property. He was giving the job as he was the only one that would take the job for 38k a year. One he was made VP of sales and Marketing, they kept him in the same salary scale. What kind of looser accepts a VP job for 38K? He has not been in the business for 20+ years, he is 37, you do the math. Their hotel in Sherman, TX is closed, wonder why! This is just an example on how they manage their hotels. Scott N also has a profile in LinkeIn and is full of lies. Jag just send Bobby and his family back to India. Why are they running? If Scott N is so happy in the company why is he looking for a job. He is so delusional the he is trying to get a job in a mega hotel in the Caribbean. Ha! what a joke! |

I don't know why I was surprised to see the comments above from DMC's employees. My experience with this company has been very bad. I cleaned their carpet at a hotel they own or manage. I gave them a good deal and did the work. I was told I would have my check in a week. HA! After a year of calling and showing up at the hotel, nothing! I finally had to sue them, and won. I'm sure I'll never see a dime of the money. The reaction from the clerk when I filed the suit was " oh wow, another one" They must get sued on a regular basis.
I'm a small business owner and can't afford to get ripped off. This experience has changed the way I do business.
I feel bad for the employees. Hopefully this business will get what they deserve. SHUT DOWN. |

Carret guy, they must have bank accounts, so can you can serve the judgement on thse crooks by serving the court orders to the bank, or have their cars towed |

I encourage people to look at these two links. One is for drug possession and the other is a ongoing lawsuit in California. These documents will tell all you need to know about DMC. |

Wow! Alvaro you must have hit your head at some point. Scott Nadel did not clean any mess in Sweetwater, that mess was cleaned up before he or you were hire. The GM and the Asst GM were fired three weeks before Scott started working in Sweetwater. Oh BTW he hated all of you when he started, he could not stand to live in the backwards town of Sweetwater. You have to ask to borrow money because of the fees you had when they paid you with bounce checks. You also had no money to buy supplies for the hotel in Kansas. The only explanation to this review is that Scott and Jag wrote it themselves. It is full of lies. I wonder what happened to their previous COO, I believe her name is Krista. |
|

Krista actually hired me. She seemed pretty decent. That's probably why she got out of that crappy company. Talk about a resume' killer!!
I read the ridiculous article also: DMC Hotels Helping Keep The American Dream Alive" I almost fell off my chair! What a joke. Scott Nadel doesn't know his ass from his elbow! Any seasoned hotel GM knows it. He just fakes his way through, kissing Jags butt.
I feel bad for Carpet Guy. Sir, you are just one of many to be screwed over by DMC, or should I say Jag. Click the link at the bottom of my post to see everyone who will never see a dime from these jerks.
Earlier posts are right. They don't pay taxes, utilities, breakfast supplies, housekeeping supplies, etc. And my paychecks bounced too. I lost some good employees because of that. I won't work for free either!
We're all much better off to be out of that lousy company. I hope more vendors and employees post. Let the world know what Dhillon Management is really all about!!!
Take a look: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&xhr=t&q=jagmohan+dhillon+bankruptcies&cp=8&pq=jag%20dhillon%20bankruptcies&pf=p&sclient=psy&safe=off&source=hp&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=jagmohan+dhillon+bankruptcies&pbx=1&bav=on.2, or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=f0db36aa1c9349b9&biw=1366&bih=598 (Jagmohan Dhillon bankruptcies was my search) |

Carpet Guy, it is not true that you cannot get your money back from these thieves. You can go to Sherif's office and show them the judgement. For a small fee they will accompany you to the hotel and will sieze all the cash in the registers untill you are paid. The Sherif do sieze all the cash from business untill the judgement is paid. They can hide their accounts but they cannot hide their hotels and cash registers in it. Go screw them tomorrow |

Kinda crazy stuff. I applied to this company not knowing the history and got called for an interview by Scott Nadal. After doing research on the company and seeing what they were about and seeing these posts boy am I glad my gut instinct told me to not go to the interview. Your posts really helped. |
|
|
I'm glad the posts helped you in making a decision about working for DMC Hotels. I guess that's why we are all posting. I can tell you, I research a company before I apply now. |
