Dish Network Not happy with Dish Network Service Atlanta , Georgia |

My husband and I had a contract with Dish until 12/13/2011. We had seen a promotional rate and wanted to renew our contract for an addtional two years due to enjoying the services they had provided for the past two years. Due to not paying our service was cut off, and we did not mind as we were under the impression that our contract was up. We called today in order to renew since the money available . We first spoke to someone named Charlie. Charlie advised that our service was in a tempory disconnect status due to not paying the ADVANCE monthly payment of $55.03. In order to be eligable for any upgrades or promotions Charlie stated we would need to pay the $55.03. This made no since at all!!! Why would we pay that if it is in advance??? So we inquired if we paid this amount would we then be eligable for the promotions. Charlie said he would not be able to view that information until we actually paid the money. This was totally not making since to us. My husband then asked if he paid the amount of $55.03 and we then disconnected the service would we get a full refund. Charlie then said yes we would get a full refund. I advised my husband to ask to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold a few minutes Charlie came back on the line and tried to offer us some other deal. We declined and again asked for a supervisor. We were then placed on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for a supervisor. We were then connected to Jan operator LSS. We explained our situation to her and she was empthaic. However she was not able to do what we wanted. All we wanted was to renew our two year contract and know what kind of price she would be able to give us. She told us the same as Charlie that she would not be able to view that information unless we paid the amount that was owed. We then asked her if we pay the amount and disconnect the service would we be able to get a full refund. She said yes. We could hear her do some typing and then she said that the payment went through and we would receive a refund of $47.17 in 3 to 5 days. We asked what happened to the full refund that you said it would be???? She said that it was for the 4 days of service. We then told her we have not have service since the 12th so that did not make since. So I ask for a confirmation email that the service has been terminated and a email documenting this converstation. Jan said no to both requests!!!! We then stated we would take other avenues to presue this. What the heck is wrong with this company?? I need help with an email blast if anyone can help me! Thank you! |
