Directv $360 Scam for all channels and HD DVR California, Nationwide

Ok so about a week ago they called me from "directv" promotions and asked for me, they had my name and address. They had a supposely special deal going on that for $360 they would put all channels and give us HD-Dvr's for all 4 rooms. Then they put on the 2 hour test to see if we liked it right, so after the two hours they called and asked how it was and if we liked it so then they requested that the $360 be paid in green dot Money Pack so we paid half and they said that after we paid the rest in 15 days they would send someone to come and install the DVR's. Everything sounded pretty legit but the reason I fell for it was that they acctually did put on all channels and they had all my info. It wasn't until the bill arrived of around $130 that we called directv costumer service and asked them why they were charging if we had paid half the promotion and still had 15 days to pay the other half so they replied saying they didnt know anything about such promotion so then we called the number that "directv promotions" had given us in case we had a question and they said to just throw the bill away, so after the 15 days we paid the rest and they said that the technitian would be there 2 days later so 2 days passed and we called them again at the "promotions" and asked what had happen they replied saying that we had to pay $120 for the receiver warranty... so fast forward to today 9/28/11 my bill arrived 1 day ago and they are charging around $200 for this months and interest for last months bill that wasn't paid. So again we call Directv costumer support and they said that we were scammed that no such promotion exists. My question now is how were they able to access my account and activate all the channels in the receiver?
