I am writing this report in agreement with an anonymous writer/"gogotherapist" on the horrible treatment one must sufferunder the authority of Debra Renaudo, and yes, she can create must havoc on someone's career. The following is from the letter I read on ripoff report from gogotherapist:
I am directly affiliated with the AZBBHE and the executive director, Debra Rinaudo. I must remainanonymous as I have been a victim of this board and it's director. There are many therapists/ who have had similar experiences as my own but are unable (or too afraid) to come forward. There is no doubt that any complaint against the ED will result inretaliation which would include the loss of license and career. I know as I have experienced this with certainty.
It was very hard for me to accept that as a citizen of the US, I would be treated with such injustice - that my words would be used against me, my honesty would be distorted, and my reputation smeared for the rest of my career. The ED runs this board with an iron fist. She's a bully in the true sense of the word. This writer goes into further detail, and I recommend reading it if you too have been a victim of this woman. I would love to find a way to get her fired, but how? Meanwhile, I thank this writer for confirming what I went through. I can't tell you how offensive she was and how this has caused me much problems for me in more ways than one. I wish someone would sue her for her "antics"(gogotherapist). See

| I thought I had reciprocity when I applied. I tried to speak with them prior to submitting. I had been certified for 10 years with no complaints at all on my national or state certification before I moved to Arizona and applied with them. They went back over 20 years of my history and wanted me to even have requests sent to former employers so they could acquire my personnel records. I even had state police tell them I had no felonies etc. It was never enough. Being that Debra is an attorney, she sets their procedure up as if you are defending yourself in a court room and she is the states attorney against you. It was a nightmare and even after 5 years I still cringe thinking about it. They projected me as if I was a criminal and have me on their website and Google. When in reality I worked full time and went to school nights to earn my degree. I worked very hard and often times this was nights and weekends with no benefits to get experience in the field. I paid my own way through school and I often only took grant funded positions which had less pay so I could be a counselor. They have no idea how much damage they are doing to people. I hope someone anybody who may come across and read this, hopefully with a law degree could correct their actions and stop their mean ways. |

First, Debra Rinaudo is NOT an attorney, not sure where this myth comes frmo, but if it's from her she is lying and can be sued. Debra Rinaudo does not appear on the AZ state bar, so she is not an attorney. There is not even a record of her passing the bar exam.
Second, complain. You can do anonymously with the governor's office and the Ombudsmen. She is finally being watched. [email protected]

I could be wrong about Debra being an attorney, however, I did write a letter to the governor but it only got forwarded to her and then she responded to my letter. Second I started out with the ombudsman originally when I first sensed something was not right. They simply vented about the same thing that she searches and searches until they find something, anything, no matter how insignificant and innocent it is, they trump it up. The ombudsman was a waste of time. Besides if they could do something, why haven't they already! My name is still on google and it looks like America's Most Wanted when in reality I worked harder then most to achieve my credentials. |

Debra Rinaudo was formerly an attorney who practice corporate law, by her description. She was given a choice to surrender her license or face a bar complaint and investigation into her unethical unprofessional behavior. She chose to resign.
How does one who surrendered their license under agreement with her employer get appointed by the Governor to be an executive director?
She has been carrying out her anger against other professionals ever since. She runs the Board by appointing members with passive personalities who will not disagree nor stand up to her. She runs professionals into the ground with her rage and vengence. Because she can no longer practice law, she is determined to ruin as many other professionals lives as she can and does so with bold fury. |

| Does anyone know any details about Rinaudo's ethics violations? My cousin put in an app to work under her, and now we're having 2nd thoughts. Was this in Arizona? How about some hints about it. We are interested to know. Very |
