28th of Jun, 2011 by User245717 |
CALL YOUR CC COMPANY AND GET A REFUND!!! This company called me up and said they would keep my website on the 1st page of Google and I would be at the top of the page 98% of the time. I signed up and I was NEVER on the top of the results AT ALL-NEVER!!!-, I was always off to the right. This advertising called SEP or Search Engine Placement DID NOTHING for me when I was off to the right. They NEVER-not one time-had me at the TOP like they promised and they kept charging my account. After trying to explain to them that I was MISLED to believe I would be at the top of the page at the price they quoted. When I explained that I was NEVER WHERE my sales rep said I would be and wanted a refund I got a email from ADAM VANDERPOOL, the president of the company, threatening to SUE me. Direct Placement LLC is a complete scam and these guys DON'T know what they are doing. Check out , if this is the company calling you then BUYER BEWARE!!! I didn't know I could do a CHARGEBACK from VISA but it is available for SCAMS like these. They can't waive my rights through my credit card. Don't let DIRECT PLACEMENT LLC bully you around and steal your MONEY!!! |

To whom it concerns:
Thank you for your opinions. With free speech also comes free opinions and Direct Placement respects the rights of others. However, this individual reminds me of a disgruntled employee. Someone who may have been fired for stealing or something else unbecoming of an employee. First thing that person does is start to talk bad about the company who acts on the issue. These people often times like to put out false information about a company or person yet they still want to maintain their own anonymity. No one knows who you are, you could be some geek in the basement with nothing else to do than try and harm other company's good reputations. Only a coward would hide behind such a wall of lies. Therefore Direct Placement chooses not to defend itself against such silly allegations. Direct Placement in just under two (2) years of business has helped over 1500 other business owners find success on the internet. To be scamming clients would just be bad business. Being that Direct Placement is an ethical company who is passionate about helping others, we would never strive to take advantage of any client. We welcome you to call the number provided by whomever originally posted this. Please call the number and talk with one of our reputable Marketing Advisors and they will set you straight. If you need more, go to our testimonials page and talk to an actual client as they have given explicit permission to talk with our prospects about what we "really" do.

To all who read these threads, be sure to find out the truth. Through further investigation, the person who started the thread, Allen Miller, Owner of Party Bus USA, in Tampa is the scam artist. He accepted our service, enjoyed the unjust enrichment, just to later abuse the chargeback system and get his money back along with the exposure we provided for his company. He claims in his 'own words' that he was never at the top of the Search Engine, yet his Traffic Report shows something different. His average position over a 3 month period was 2.3 on the page. Anyone who knows Google, knows that there is only 3 positions at the top of the page. If his average is 2.3 over a 3 month period, then what he claims is false. Don't be misled by people who have nothing better to do than harm other good company's reputations.
Oh and BTW - It wasn't a threat, we are pursuing legal remedies. |

I used this service and it did nothing for my business. My advice, save your money.
Just read the comment above. Would you want to do business with a company that publicly trashes its clients that it has done business with? Allen Miller, right or wrong, shouldn't be outed by Direct Placement on the internet. That's probably the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. Also it's why I decided to share my experience.
Take your money for Adwords and tell you "it's a great phrase" I was on mine for months. I never heard from these guys. I never got and calls for new business either... When I decided to quit with them it took forever. Then I decided to run this "great phrase" on my own. What I was paying
$225 for each month, actually only cost about $40 a month had I just paid www.Google.com directly!!!
Here is their info... my sales rep was very smooth... good luck and I hope this helps...

I was called today by Direct Placement (503-477-9946).
She said that they were affiliated with Google.com, and that a "position on the first page of Google just opened up for photographers." She guaranteed that Direct Placement would have my business on the first page of Google "24 by 7."
What she did NOT say was that they are selling "sponsored results." This is not organic results.
What does Google say?
"No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a "special relationship" with Google, or advertise a "priority submit" to Google. There is no priority submit for Google. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google directly is through our Add URL page or by submitting a Sitemap and you can do this yourself at no cost whatsoever."

Some people just have nothing better to do than try to hurt thier ex employer, Wasting time and not realizing that they are also hurting the ones they worked with. Direct Placement was always able to get peopl;e on the front page and never gauranteed the top position. |
