Direct Alternatives Weight Loss Program They charged my card for $79.90 after I
cancelled a week after I received the Free trial that I also paid
$7.95. When I cancelled, I specifically asked if I needed to pay for
anything or return anything and I was told no that my account would
never be charged other than the $7.95. I find out today that not only
did the tell me I had two choices, to keep the products and only be
charged $39.95 OR I can return the 3 bottles that I received for my Free
trial and pay for additional s & h and tracking so I can make sure
it gets there. None of this was ever told to me by their cancellation
dept employee and since they have my credit card, they charged my
account. What a scam! When I asked for a supervisor, I was told there
isn't one. When I asked to talk to the owners so they would know that
this is not good business, they told me that I should have listen to the
recording when I ordered....horrendous business ethics.

I am currently having the same problem with them. I tried the Contact Us info on their website and get a "unable to deliver" response on my emails. Fortunately, I used my debit card and that is relatively easy to change so that I will not get additional charges. If they bill me, I plan on taking it to our local consumer protection agency and also reporting it to our local consumer advocate. Their practices appear to be fraudulent and at the least, highly unethical. I believe that the company exists of only the owners from what I have been able to find out online. I will update if I have further information. I am also contacting the local radio station where I heard the ad and letting them know about this horrible excuse for a company.
