I had a bad experience with Dinodirect.com do to the fact that I purchased my order with them on Nov. 28, 2011 and only received two items, I just hope that no one else get's caught up in this Scam because I sure did for $60.39 cents but it was a total of $80.39 cents and that's not the $6.99 the keep on trying to charge me for membership. |

Shame you had a bad experience.
You do realise that there is a cultural difference in dealing with China than your local retailer?
I've had issues in the past with miscommunication and items not available after ordering.
However, I have also been tradng with DD for a couple of years now, and have always had issues resolved amicably. Yes, the communication process can be frustrating at times.
The $6.99 membership (IDinor) you purchased was so that you could receive discounts including free coupons and exclusive ChatSupport. You can go in to paypal and remove the transaction at anytime.
The $20 extra was probably the shipping that you hadn't factored in when ordering.
... Maybe blinded by the Free Shipping on some items.
By the way, I am one of the winners of the 'FREE TRIP TO CHINA' as a DD and Chinese guest in
March 2012.
Unless DD reniges, then I can't agreee that it is a sham business. |

From what I saw on the injternet Onamish, you and a whole heap of other winners got scammed big time by Dinodirect...
Hi, Dinodirect scammed everyone with their Free trip to China promotion. http://www.dinodirect.com/Forum/Latest-Posts-5/Discover-China-Winners-Announcement-1-68320?cur=GBP
They cancelled the trip a week before departure. They used the promotion to make money and get backing from international investors! Paypal is investigating for false advertising as a sponsor.
How about confirming this for us or are you that furious? |

G'day HD. Just got a status alert that you had posted a comment here.
Yes, I got done by Dinodirect's Christmas promotion - Spend $100 and win a Free Trip to China.
Furious, disappointed, disgusted? Take your pick.
After a token 'yumcha' tablet offer as compensation, I stated over many days my case to be reimbursed for the out of pocket expenses, which they have done.
It doesn't negate the fact that the promotion was meant to be a huge thanks from the company or being a once in a lifetime opportunity to see china.
All I can say is that I was a long standing customer that is no more!
I will now shop from Aliexpress, where you get more choice direct from the manufacturers.
I could cope with the late deliveries, incorrect or missing items, poor customer service but this was beyond an unfortunate occurence.
If I was meant to be a guest of Dinodirect as a global customer and was treated like this,
then I would hate to know what they really think of us! |
