DigiExpress Kept my iPod for 9+ weeks after telling me it would take 1 week, |

I decided to use DigiExpress after my headphone jack completely died. I knew what was wrong, so all I purchased was an a new headphone jack and installation of said headphone jack. This is a fairly simple thing to do (I actually considered doing it myself, but decided it would be more prudent to leave it up to the "professionals") so when I was told it would only take a week, I believed them. It took 8+ weeks for me to get my iPod back, and that was after constant calls, emails, and them claiming 2 separate times that they "lost" it. Each time they claimed they "lost" it, they would then tell me that they found it, that they had shipped it to someone else, that this had never happened before, and that it was now on it's way back to me. 3 days ago they "found" it again, and told me they had just sent the people they "accidentally shipped" it to a box to send it back in, and surprisingly I got it back today. When I took it out of the box, it look good enough. So I decided to test out my headphone jack. First thing I noticed when I looked into the headphone jack was light coming through - weird, but I decided to put it in anyways. Then I inserted my headphone plug into the jack, and it felt really loose. Again, odd, but I went ahead anyways. Then I turned the iPod on - first thing I noticed was that the iPod's battery was lower then when I sent it in. Not a big deal, but just something to notice. Then I saw that someone had left Bob Dylan on, and I know I sent my iPod in with no music on. I just assumed that they just needed to check that the headphone jack was working, but after testing the headphone jack and discovering that it was WORSE then when I sent it in, it felt fishy. First, they claim they "accidentally" sent it to someone else twice, and then I get an iPod that does not appear to have a headphone jack (or at least not a properly installed one). This just screams scam. I just emailed them, telling them that if I do not get compensation of some sort (enough to replace my iPod) by next week, I am getting a lawyer involved. I certainly shall never use them again, and shall tell everyone about my horrible experience with DigiExpress. These people don't know what they're doing, and might be stripping iPods of parts. DO NOT USE THEM! |
