Multi Media Spectrum is an appointment setting company for primarily residential solar companies. It recently launched a commercial appointment setting department...which according to David Alexander, is operating in the "red." Based on my extensive sales experience, including Inside Sales and B-2-B, he hired me for the commercial appointment setting department, at a rate of $11.00 per hour for the first 2 weeks. He promised his client solar companies that his staff [slaves] would set a minimum of 1 appointment per day, which is not possible when dealing with potential "Commercial" clients because it requires several calls to identify the actual Decision-Maker[s], most of whom are Diector of Operations, Facilities Managers, and/or CFO's. To get to them, one must first get through layers and layers of "Gate-Keepers," VM, and/or unreturned emails. The majority of leads that were given to us by his client solar companies, were not properties actually owned - they were tenants, they far exceeded the minimum roof area requirements [3000 sq. ft.], monthly electricity bills of $1,250, and were outside the requested client solar companies geographic areas [So Cal area, and only commercial companies whose provider is So Cal Edison]. Between 80-90% of the leads involved corporations and/or Franchises...with multiple locations. These companies made up the majority of the leads provided, and regardless of the opportunity to grow into a large[r] company...the client solar companies we dealt with could not handle large, lucrative projects...which is what I am accustomed to handle. Because its commercial solar division was a pilot-type program, not able to compete with other companies that could handle national accounts, the future of Multi Media Spectrum is uncertain, at best... |
