Datavo 6855 Tujunga Avenue, Lied to get me to sign contract then ignored their own contract North Hollywood, California |

The company representative was a customer at my business when he told me that he worked for a local telephone company, Datavo. He told me that he could get me a specific phone number that I had been trying to get for a year. Promised that if I signed a two year contract that they could get the number. I fell for the lie.
Once I signed the contract clearly showing that the contract is only valid if they are to obtain the number I requested, they ignored me and began billing me for services even though they did not fulfill their end of the deal. I had a fat bill every month, but not the number I requested, they gave me some other number that did me no good. Once I complained they began to lie about the contents of the contract. They had the nerve to argue with me over what was clearly stated on a paper contract that I had in front of my face. Began threatening me and cut off phone service to get me to pay. They began calling me and harassing me non stop for six months and eventually sent a huge bill and a threat which they never came through on. Whoever their collections lady is had to be told repeatedly to stop calling during business hours and would not forward their requests to my attorney, which I had asked them to do repeatedly.
In sum, they are liars and thieves. Be warned. AT&T may not be the cheapest company, but at least they stick to their word. This company has no decency or credibility.

My name is Rhaphael T. and a representative of Datavo. After coming across your complaint I was curious as to whether you were still with Datavo and if so were you able to resolve issues with the contract. I was unable to pull any information regarding your account due to the limited information provided within the Scam Informer complaint, but would like to work to resolve any issues if they still exist. Please send me your main business number via email if you continue to be a Datavo customer as I would like the opportunity to resolve the issue and retain your business.

Datavo just called my office stating that they were taking over the Small Business Accounts for AT&T then started to ask me about how many phone lines we have what the numbers are and what my name is. I asked them why they didn't already have the information if they were taking over for AT&T. She kept reassuring me that the information was sent out in my last AT&T bill and that she has the info just needs to confirm. I told her that I don't give out this type of information over the phone to people I don't know, if they would like to fax me over the info I would be happy to review it. She assured me that I would have it shortly. Yeah Right!!! This kind of lying and deceitfullness should be prosecuted!!! |

3 calls from this firm - all telling me they were the wholesale division of ATT ( after asking to speak to the person who handles the ATT account). Fast talking about how a new program would lower my rates - then asking for all kinds of information.
There doesn't seem to be a way to stop these guys from calling multiple times - calls coming from 302-450-4746 |
