I paid $300 to have our five computers hard drives cleaned up and viruses removed for a one year period. They cleaned the first one in about three hours and it did speed the computer up, but the next three I called in about were never serviced. One laptop was supposedly serviced but the software was never activated, and they didn't give me the activation code. You have to call in and have them activate it. And it never ran any different after the service was supposedly completed. Same problems, same errors. They tied up two more laptop computers for two days and never did anything to them. I called several times over the two days to find out why no service had been performed and was told they were very sorry for the inconvenience but that would get to it as soon as possible and to leave the computers connected to the Internet, and that they would have a technician call me. They told me they would put me on a "Priority List" to get the computers serviced. Each person that I spoke to when I called in told me the exact same thing, but nothing was ever done to service these three computers. I called one more time to try to get some resolution to this and asked if they could give me an estimated time that they would be servicing my computers. These computers are used for business as well as personal use. I explained to them that I couldn't have my computers tied up indefinitely. I was basically told they'd get to it when they got to it, and then given the same line of crap that I got the other two times I called about a technician calling me and so on. When I bought this, I was told that if I wanted to, I could call every day to have my computers serviced. Satisfaction is guaranteed, they said. This company is not delivering what they promised. I wouldn't recommend this company to an enemy. They don't communicate at all, and they don't follow through with their promises. They show no consideration for your schedule. I suggest you find a local computer shop you can trust and have your service done locally where you can speak with someone face to face. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this company. CyberDefender and MyCleanPC.com are a scam. I'll be disputing the charges on my credit card |
