Curse Icon, LLC Mark Bowman Curse Icon, Mark Bowman Refused to pay agreed amount for services Columbus, Ohio

The band Curse Icon aka Curse Icon, LLC (registered in the state of Ohio by James D. Guest II, Jason L. Retz, Matthew J. Lefeld) hired my company ZT5 Entertainment to shoot a music video. The cost for the video shoot was $750 as long as ZT5 Entertainment could display the finished product on it's YouTube.com page located at http://youtube.com/zt5 for promotional purposes. After completion of the shoot and 80+ hours of editing the video was uploaded. The band, Curse Icon and specifically Mark Bowman (drummer and owner of the band) decided to reshoot the video. But, they felt they shouldn't have to pay for additional work. ZT5 explained that they cannot work for free and pointed out that the original amount hadn't even been paid yet.. At this point the band Curse Icon owes ZT5 Entertainment $4,180 and refuses to pay anything. Since then, Mark Bowman and Curse Icon has made every attempt possible to have my company shut down for copyright infringement. They contacted YouTube and my hosting provider, both of which pulled my sites temporarily. They have reinstated my accounts after I made counter notifications that the copyright infringement didn't exist. Be forewarned that Mark Bowman is a slime. He will stop at nothing to harm you and your family via attacks on your livelihood. His band, Curse Icon is a second rate rock band out of Columbus, OH and they had to move from the Cleveland area for some of the same reasons as this report. If you do business with Curse Icon the potential for harm are great and you WILL lose money.

Mark Asher/ZT5s complaint about Curse Icon is 100% inaccurate. I have on multiple occasions tried to work with Mark Asher and ZT5 to remedy this situation and he refused to talk to me or to have a meeting of the minds. He wants 1000s of extra dollars for an incomplete project that we have yet to receive and that he agreed to do for $750. I did not expect of, nor did I ever ask Mark Asher/ZT5 to spend 80 hours editing. He moved forward on a project that was not discussed nor approved by the the band. The deal was he was supposed to produce 3 live videos and 1 production video for us. not only did ZT5 show up 3 hours late to the shoot but after both parties agreed to a concept, Mark Asher "disappeared" for 4 months, not returning calls, emails or texts. He was paid $650 prior to starting the work. 4 months later Mark Asher finally decides to call me to tell us our "video is done". There was absolutely no communication with the band whatsoever. The agreement did not give Mark Asher/ZT5 creative license to "do whatever he wanted" and arbitrarily charge us 1000s of extra dollars. Mark Asher did whatever he wanted with no communication with us and asked us to accept that. Our band did not approve the concept nor were we ever asked if we were ok with the new terms. Mark Asher's accounting is very "creative".

After paying $650 I still have no product to show for the money. All i wanted was what we paid for or our money back and asked for nothing more. (This and the initial agreement is clearly documented in my files). I did not ask ZT5 to re-shoot, that was Mark Asher's suggestion, witnessed by 3 people, and I even told him I understood it would cost more and was happy to do what it took to finish and make it right. After scheduling the re-shoot Mark Asher was a no-show, costing the band time and money. Not only did Mark Asher and ZT5 refuse to deliver the product, but he also elected to keep our money and even asked for MORE money for the undelivered products. Mark Asher is a thief and a lier. He makes fake blogs and fake profiles to trash people so be wary of working with him. do NOT work with him, you will lose money, he will slander you when you ask for what you paid for and then you'll never see your product.

As far as the copyright claim goes, you are using our copyright without permission. End of story. And we did not move from Cleveland because of "similar things" we left because there were no jobs, jackass. You are building my legal case against you for me. Every one of these defamations are going into my legal files. Govern yourself accordingly.
