I own a trucking and transportation company and i have been using crescent processing companies credit card machine now for approximately two years.I have had several issues with them but this one takes the cake.I delivered a vehicle to the shipping port in Cape Canaveral Fla for a customer whom lives in Panama.As usual after the delivery of this vehicle and loading it on a ship i billed my customer 2266.00 dollars for services rendered. This is not the first time i have done this with this customer and billed his credit card.In the past i have billed his card for up to 4000.00 dollars without issue. On this occasion i ran the credit card on Nov 5th for the amount of 2266.00 and received an authorization number from crescent that the charge had gone through without any issue.On Nov 8th the credit card settlement went through and i received a accepted cofirmation. On Nov 9th i received a call from Trish Davenport that they had charged my customer the amount of 2266.00 but would not pay me for 270 days because this card was from a bank in Panama.Note they already charged the customer and had the money in there account,we had done this transaction numerous times in the past with out any problem. I refused to accept that they where going to hold my money for 270 days.On Nov 10th Trish sent me a copy of the receipt that they had reversed the charge on my customers card and he will probably see it by Nov 15th. Beware with these guys,I can only hope that my customer in Panama is honest enough to pay me my 2266.00 for services rendered once he sees that his money has been credited back to him. This may cost me 2266.00 and a customer with whom i have had a good relationship with for several years.Dont believe that because you have not one but two receipts stating everything is ok with your charge that it is ok. Be especially careful if you are selling a product,a service or something you may have no way of falling back on and collecting your money. I find this to be extremely bad business on Crescent processing procedure. If crescent Processing is not going to pay then deny the charge do not accept it and let the business believe the are paid. This is a deceptive plan is to sit on hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars and collect interest while they wait to pay you.scam TO YOU.YOU THE BUSINESS WILL LOOSE CUSTOMERS AND YOUR MONEY.BEWARE OF THERE PRACTICES
