Last year a saleman called me and asked if I would talk with him about using Crescent processing to process payments for my home daycare, I told them I did not think I had enough volume to do this because I only care for a few children. Cresent processing said I would only be charged for the machine if I didn't use it. The saleman came out I talked to him and the company and was told I'd be charged $6.95 cents I repeated that I did not think parent would use the service, I was told to try it and I would only be charged for the usuage.
Cresent started taking money from my account and has changed amounts 3-4 time $6.95 to over $100.00 and the machine is not even plugged up. I tried to talk to customer service several time and my bank, customer service finally said they would charge me $495.00 to give back the machine. Cresent told me that I'd signed a contract for 4 years and I almost passed out the saleman told me it was for a year. The contract was 20-25 pages long and customer service said read page 8, I did and it was true, however, when I signed the contract I didn't have time to read it. The salesman came to the door, very nice guy I might ad, I was carrying a crying child, he told me that he was in a hurry and if I signed everything would be ok. He said he was suppose to go over the contract and sign on his computer but it wasn't working so I could sign
and it would be ok. I signed for the $6.95 and they begin billing me over $20 dollars
then it was over $100.00 back to $11.50 now over $100.00 again. I tried to stop payments but my back said I could not I called them and each time I get "well we have to spend money too and if you tried maybe your parents would use at least $300.00 a month. I unpluged the machine and put it in a box. I was just going to chalk it up to
poor judgement but now they have taking more than $300.00 from my account and I cannot afford this. I have to buy food for 12 children and pay an employee. I cannot afford to give money away like this.
