I was applying for jobs online when I received this response to one of the applications: Hi, We have reviewed over 15 applications and we have narrowed our selection down to five. Congratulations, you are one of the five applicants we would like to interview by the end of next week! We have two positions open. Job will require: Excellent written and oral communication skills to perform general administrative duties including answering phones and taking messages, preparing mailings, ordering and maintaining supplies, copy work, filing, emailing, and typing correspondence. We will give more specific details at the interview.
Hours: 9:00 AM ? 5:00 PM (We can make hours flexible if necessary).
Pay: $13 - $16 an hour (we will decide final salary after interview based on experience)

Human Resources I was a little skeptical at first, but some institutions do require credit checks. Due to the high volume of applications/resumes I submitted today I wasn't sure which job this was a reponse to. When the credit reporting agency asked me for my social security number I got a little nervous and decided to do some checking. Right away I saw the story of a woman who had tried to rent a house and had been sent to the same creditreport.com website and had discovered it was a fraud. Be very careful with any dealings with craigslist, unfortunately preditors have made it into an unsafe environment for people like me who are just trying to find a job and make a living.
