creatingwigs Creating wigs, owned by Jeffrey baldwig, sheddingwig, overprocessed, bad customer service Internet |

I bought a lacefront wig from a company called creating wigs. Their website is in China from the owner Jeffrey Ye. I initially wanted a small standard wig but ammended the size later during construction but that did not turn out to be a problem as the wig fits very well. My complaint would be that on the order form, I stated that I wanted a light yaki virgin lacefront but he sent pictures of a wavy unit. At that point, I told him he made a mistake. I stated that the wig looked really nice but it wasnt what I wanted. Turns out he had double processed the unit, into yaki and wavy. I was very leery about accepting this wig but was afraid that if I refused to take it, he would just process it into yaki again to avoid a loss, resulting into triple processing and let it sit for a while and then turn around later and sell me the same wig. ( I have a small head and the measurements were customized to my head and the likelyhood of that wig fitting anyone else were small ). Also, the wig looked decent in pictures and since I was afraid of rejecting it now just to get the same wig triple processed, I accepted the wig but let him know on IM (Instant messanger) that if there were problems, I would let him know. He said not to worry, the wig was ""strong"" despite the double processing. When I got the wig, I immediately let him know that the wig looked overprocessed, and was shedding and almost bald especially at the back, at the stretch part of the wig. He was not cooperative and told me that thats the standard density with his wigs. I then told him we should come to a resolution, and that I felt scammed as I had paid for a virgin unit & having a horrible double processed unit defeats the purpose. If he could not take the wig & refund my money back, he should at least charge me for a regular Yaki or for a regular wave. I then sent him pics of the bald unit & sent him a video and he didn't care. Also, the pics he sent of the hairline etc were very nice but when I got the actual wig, the knots at the front were not bleached as in the picture. I would like to think he sends standard pics not pics of actual wig. Also, I had to ask him to add 3rows of kinky curly baby hairs as I told him his baby hairs were not curly enough. When I recived the unit, the new knots were not only still straight & hanging like bangs but they were not bleached. Also, I had to ask him to recolor the silk top as it was lighter than I had wanted. So light in fact it was suited for a white person when I am a brown skinned female. The whole process has been a nightmare. He has no common sense & does not follow specs in the order form plus he is very rude. At this point, I would like to have my money back and to warn everyone that compared to a lot of Chinese vendors, creating wigs is cheap, but they are a scam. Ladies, its not a deal, if the wig is bald like mine! |
