About ten months ago cps in Putnam County New York took my nephew from my sister and brother in law it was the right move on there part because they were using drugs. They gave my nephew to my mother who had him for aproximatley two months. He was then taken from her under alleged allegations that could never be proved and was placed with my brother in laws step mother. after sometime she decided that she was not able to care for him and he was then given to her sister. Since he has been placed with her cps has done everything in there power to keep him there including threatening to terminate the parents rights. This woman who has my nephew has no blood relation to him and therefore is not family to my nephew. My brother steped up and said he would take on the responsibility and he got a lawyer and went to court for custody and was shot down by cps and the judge because of these false allegations pertaining to my mother and this is something that obviously was not said in court but was later discussed with my sister and her caseworker the fact that my brother has a black fiance and her caseworker felt that it was difficult for a child to be raised by different cultures. My brother has a great job that he has had for over seven years he has no criminal record he has his own place he is a model citizen. so i have to ask anyone who is reading this is this fair. cps has made it nearly impossible for my family to see our nephew making my brother and mother see a shrink in order for them to see my nephew and to top it all off they have to pay for visitation in order to see there nephew and they can only see him once a month. cps is out of control they basically are telling the judge what to do and he is like there puppet going along with it . my family is running out of options and time if you think you can help in anyway please contact me. A little boy deserves to grow up with his family and not strangers |
