I recently answered an ad in the New York Post for "Security Guards Needed,Immediate Hire" I had my 8 hour and 16 hour certificates,so of course,I was told,I needed my fireguard,and was told by a LT.Kelly,that she likes to present a "complete package" to her buildings.... I was charged $80.00,for a processing fee....I then paid $189.00 for the Fireguard Class. Lt.Kelly,whom I have never seen face to face...she was always busy...or in some kind of meeting,or my favorite,"had a huge drug bust in Brooklyn"....said immediate job placement would follow my fire guard. I get my fire guard certificate, I go back to CP international , and now I get a Mr.Pollard. He hands me two job referral sheets,I go to both,and told that heither one is hiring at this time. I call CP back, never getting a person,and leaving a message for "Mr.Pollard", "Stephan Edouard',and of course,the good old Lt.Kelly. Lt. Kelly says someone will call you right back. Two days go by...no call. Call Lt.Kelly again. Now she is more abrupt,and says in a bothered voice.."someone will get back to you" No one ever does.... Two weeks go by,and I answer an ad in the paper,once more...knowing this is CP International..... I speak to a 'Ms.Anderson'. She tells me to come in on Thursday,at 11am. That she has a bldg that needs a security/receptionist immediatley. The pay is 12.50/hr. Full benefits. I tell her I have all my certificates,so she says that I will need $70.00 for uniforms. I would begin to train on Saturday. So I go there...fill out another application....there is no mention of the so called job. She has me fill out an application,which I do...and sends me into Mr.Pollard. By now they all pretty much know I'm aware of what they are doing. And each one of them begin to kiss my asslike not tomorrow,as I tell them there service is horrible. So,Mr.Pollard gives me another job referral...."Axel Protection System".....hey,guess what...they don't need anyone right now....but I should give him my application for the records. They did not get there $70.00 from me,nor did they even mention it,because they know I am fully aware of what they are doing now. More notes about this company.... You are sitting in a room for over 3 hours waiting to be interviewed,and finally,
after sitting for hours,you are called in to Mr.Stephan Edouards office,who rips you off of your first $80.00 for a processing fee. A NY retiired police officer,white,talking to another white male,says "I am so tired of dealing with these pork rind eating monkies"...referring to two black woman that were leaving at the time. The worst thing about this,besides innocent people in desperate need of a job getting screwed unbelievably...is that there is law enforcement involved.... Watch out for the Queen....Lt.Kelly....she runs this whole god-da**ed thing |
