Cory G Hicks and Associates Threatens thousands in legal costs for receiving a shipment , Internet

Was called by Zach Smith who claimed to be from a legal firm, Cory G Hicks and Associates. He tried to "politely" tell me that I was liable for shipping charges for product I had received from another company. He said that "I'm sure we can work something out" and then threatened me with thousands of dollars in legal fees if I did not pay for a couple hundred dollars in shipping that I had received (shipping was included in the product invoice from the supplier). I had NEVER received any correspondance from the shipping company. He did not share the name of the shipping company. He said he would sue me through a legal firm in my state but he did not give an accurate name of that company. I don't know how these people can sleep at night!

We sleep at night because we keep the good people in this world paid and we hold the bad people in the world who want to not pay for what they take accountable. Sorry that you feel your shipping should be free but it is not. Also why do you post this anonymously? If you stand in the right as you claim then why do you not list your name, phone number and address so you can be contacted and made aware of your obligation more thoroughly if you feel it was not explained enough? Oh but then of course you would have to face the truth and you certainly do not want that do you? Mr. Smith completely and thoroughly explained why you owed the shipping for the product you took. However, because you want it to be free you simply became argumentative and belligerent. Is that not more the truth? Why do you anonymous internet flunkies never address the real issue of the matter like you owe the money? Poor you poor you is all you can cry. The worlds victims need to go live on an island and cry to each other while the rest of us responsible people do what is right.
