I am looking for a new job and have filled out several online job applications and have posted my resume on a few websites (Monster, Career Builder, etc.) I receive several emails a day on available jobs. I received an email from Corporex LLC stating they would pay $1500 a week for Secret Shoppers. I was interested the website looked very professional and I always wanted to be a secret or mystery shopper. I did what I normally do and filed an application. Then I received a response wanting banking information and another form to fax to them stating I accepted the position. I thought that was weird so I read the application again and found a ton of grammar mistakes and words spelled incorrectly. It looked very legal and the form at first glance looked professional. I did some more research on the company and it doesn't exist. The real Corporex is a leasing and commercial development management company out of Kentucky. Secret Shoppers is something totally different than Corporex LLC. This is a scam. What made me fill this report out was the fact that the are preying on people in need of employment. It is very stressful and emotional during these economic times and I think that is horrible. People desperately need jobs and if you fax that form it could potentially make it even worse for someone like myself. Fortunately, I figured it out. It is a slick website. Please be careful.
