Ripoff and scam!

I ordered a Dell laptop keyboard from these people over a month ago. Two weeks after I ordered, I received an email saying it will ship on May 2nd. May 15th rolls around with no keyboard. Now the fun begins.

This company has the most ridiculous process for contacting them. You have to go through three pages of clicking acknowledgements for things like how you will behave in your email and other terms which I've never seen before. You also have to "electronically sign" the acknowledgements with your name and email address. I've never seen that before. BTW, the Contact link on the CompuTechnolgies website doesn't work. You have to place an order first, then they send you on this ridiculous goose-chase in order to contact them.

Finally I got to the support site and started a ticket asking if this keyboard had shipped yet. I received a response the next day with a very general sounding explanation on whether it had shipped. No where in the reply did they actually come out and say it had shipped (remember this was two weeks after it was supposed to have shipped). No phone number, no tracking number...nothing I could use to confirm it. So I replied back asking straight out if it had shipped.

I come into work the next day and the lady who orders for us came back saying there were six fraudulent charges on our company credit card. This card is only used for one off orders with companies we don't have PO set up with. Last time it was used was over six months ago. The bank caught them and cancelled our card right away, then contacted us. It was the classic charge a dollar to see if this account was active, then charges for other amounts followed. The total was over $500.

Later that day I received another email from them. I had to go through all the hoops again just to read it. Their reply was simply" if it said it shipped, then it has shipped". Again, no tracking number or contact phone number.

This company is a scam. I will be posting this on all the ripoff reporting websites I can find. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT THE HEADACHES!!!
