I was looking for some Mephisto brand boots and this store claimed to have them in stock. I placed my order and gave my credit card information. I received an order confirmation but it stated that it was unknown when my boots would be shipped or if my item was actually in stock. I tried contacting the company by phone and no one ever answered. Callers go straight to voice mail and no one calls you back. The same is true for email. They promise to respond to email in 24 hours. They never write back. I did some research on the internet and found that others had the same experience. They never received their order but were charged on their credit cards two months later after placing an order and never receiving their merchandise. I called my credit card and closed the account. On the website they also list an actual store with address and phone number of: 4421 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC (919) 786-0206. I called the number and spoke to a man who worked there. He said it was a Mephisto shoe store and that they sometimes received merchandise from Comfortfeetshop.com. The man said that they never spoke to anyone at Comfortfeetshop, but just used email. I told the man I wanted Comfortfeetshop to return my phone call. The man said he'd email them but I never heard from Comfortfeetshop. What kind of a business is this where you can't speak to anyone in the company?

Do not order from this company! I will also contact Mephisto and report the bad business practices of Comfortfeetshop.
