Emmediate Credit Solutions Deceptive Company Lies to Employees, Won't Pay Wages!! Murray, Utah

My husband and I responded to a job opening posting online in late November. After meeting with the "Business Manager" Ruben Apodaca, we felt confident that this was the sales job we were looking for. Ruben told us that they are a company similar to Lexington Law, in which they help individuals dispute items on their credit reports. He said that his company goes above and beyond Lexington, so that consumers can see faster results for a cheaper fee. He promised us that there were over 14,000 HOT leads in his auto-dialer system, and we would have NO trouble making money. Long story short, after 4 days of dialing the SAME 25 people over and over, we decided that this job was not all it was cracked up to be, so we quit. We had heard from one of his previous employees that Ruben wouldn't pay us, that he had ripped this prior employee off for a couple of hundred dollars. Concerned, we asked Ruben when we could expect our checks for the 4 days of work we performed for him. He told us December 22nd was the next pay day. We live about 45 minutes south of Murray, UT, so prior to driving up to Murray on the 22nd, we sent Ruben a text message confirming that we would have checks available to us. He responded that we should not harass him after business hours. We waited until the next business day, and text him again. No response. My husband tried calling him, got voicemail. Time and time again we tried contacting him to confirm. No luck. On December 22nd, we again tried calling and texting him numerous times to confirm that our checks would be available. Finally, after ALL DAY of trying to get a yes or no from him, he sent us a text that said his accountant had to leave unexpectedly and our checks wouldn't be available until December 23rd by 2:00 pm. We responded asking him if FOR SURE they would be there, so we didn't waste time or gas to get up there. No response. Today, December 23rd, we again attempted confirming that our paychecks would be ready. No response. We have sent NUMEROUS texts, placed NUMEROUS phone calls. All go unanswered. He immediately sends our calls to voicemail, and at one point he did answer only to tell us to stop calling him or he would call the police. Apparently, he is completely incapable of providing a simple yes or no. But, this is no news to us. According to his previous employee, this is common practice for him. He's notorious for ripping folks off - and quite frankly, if he can't communicate and pay his employees, I dread the thought of how he handles his customers. Be very careful when doing ANY kind of business with Emmediate Credit Solutions OR Ruben Apodaca.
