Got comcast in new apt. and went from smoothe move to hell. comcast disconnected my phone service instead of hooking it up leaving me with only my cell-phone to use which I am not to use only in an emergency due to my pace-maker. One month later comcast fixed the phone service leaving me without T.V. service for 3 weeks. When phone service was restored I was living in the 1950s because I heard other conversations on my phone, like a party-line. Calling them several times to fix this issue cost me alot of headaches as my family lives in the state of washington. sickness befell on my daughter not being able to call my family was really distressing. especially after my beloved mother had recently died. comcast time after time has made me look like a fool and or like I was stupid, which I am not. after thinking that all was okay, I bought a computer and signed up for comcast xfinity which during the Christmas holiday a promotion from comcast included a 250$ prepaid gift card. this bogus promo was advertised on national t.v. and still is being advertised. a comcast tech installed this into my apt and gave me the wrong e-mail address to use on my computer service. this caused my computer to crash. comcast has really out done themselves on lying to me and finally i got so sick of this crap that i am now in the process of changing service. I want my gift-card comcast. one one ocassion, which there has been several, comcast told me to get a phone that was not cordless. give me a break. now that was too funny. they said that would take care of the problems i was having. i have spent many hours on these issues.
