My son made the mistake of enrolling in Everest Unversity. He got a letter from ECMC about wages being garnished. College Education Services LLC claimed that for $395.00 they could get his loans paid off and my son's payments would be an amount that he could afford. My representative left the CES. No one ever notified us and we were strung along and told to call processing to be kept informed. Each time we called no one knew anything about my son's account. We were also working with ECMC. After much talking to ECMC and much paperwork and a report from our family Doctor, The Department of Education decided to discharge the loans because he did not have a GED. He only had a special education certificate and according to the doctor's report my son should not have been admitted to the school. College Education Services LLC claim that they talked to the Department of Education ombudsman. I called the Department of Education and spoke to a lady by the name of Joanne. Records show that I talked to the Department of Education and records show that no one from CES ever talked to the Ombudsman about my son. When we asked for a refund, the employee of College Education Services LLC claimed that we didn't deserve a refund. I worked on the problem from February thru August and only talked with a rep from College services LLC twice during the whole time. Their contract stated that if services could not be rendered within180 day, our money ($395) would be promply refunded. Since we have contested this matter CES has been untruthful and have refused to refund our monies.
