Daniel Morgan of College Default Student Loan told me in order to be considered for the consolidation loan from his company I had to pay $795 toward the principle of my loans. I explained that I had been paying the loans for more than five years and that every two weeks a payment was deducted from my paycheck. He told me that these payment were only covering the interest of the loans and I would have to pay on the principle in order to consolidate my loans with CDSL. He collected the $795 from me and then once it cleared my credit card, he sent me a statement with fine print that explained the $795 was in fact a service fee to his company. I tried to call him numerous times to no avail until recently when he told me that he never said this and if he did it say it, he was mistaken. I explained that I wanted my money back because I did not want to do business with his company. He told me I could not get a refund. When I sent emails to the company, once again, the company had reps call me and try to get me to consolidate my loans with them, but nobody has answered emails or phone calls to discuss the issue with me except Daniel Morgan, who is liar and the thief. Morgan insists I am getting a good deal by consolidating with his company, but I felt that was for me to decide, not for him to steal my money and then make me feel like I had to do business with him or lose my $795. In addition, the company states it has a 100% money back guarantee, but I cannot get anyone on the telephone to help me with this.
