Beware of the unethical practices and poor quality of customer service delivered by the CLV Group. The rental agent will over-represent the complex and apartment units, but actually being deceitful. The complex looks somewhat nice on the outside as they spend money on appearances and superficial fixings but the quality of living is horrific. A building complex that spends a lot of money on signs encouraging you to rent from them would not have to do that if word of mouth alone is good. There is a reason why they have weekly open houses - because it cannot rent otherwise due to bad living conditions. I have never in my lifetime seen the amount of people leaving in herds as with this building. From my gathering of conversations, the tenants are just fed up with the conditions of the building and management that doesn't care about your needs, only collecting rent. When you provide a complaint or need something in your unit fixed, if they are not blaming the issue on you, they are telling you they will look into it but will forget about you. If you are not on their case until the issue is fixed they won't fix it. There is just too much energy needed to get work done and leaves you exhausted. If you ask them a question, they typically don't have an answer because they don't care about what's being done, or if they say they will look into it they don't. Shameful! What this company delivers in accommodations is below the standard of living. There is constant noise resulting from poor insulation like ongoing construction, pipes, neighbours, laundry machines, backed up compactor, garbage chute, snow removal trucks clearing snow in early hours of morning, poor heat supply, decaying windows, kitchen cabinets falling apart, paint that peels, hand written numbers on stove due to original fading, doors that don't lock to entrances, snow that is not cleared for all use (front doors and pathway leading to mgmt office only cleared), water leaks into car garage and when formed to ice during cold season, not salted leaving areas extremely dangerous and slippery, lack of communication with tenants specifically when break and enters into cars no notice to tenants, lack of lighting especially on top car park, leaks in unit either from ceilings caving in or pipes bursting leaving incredible water damage, laundry facilities are cramped and machines don't work having to spend money to rewash or extended drying wasting time and money on top of already expensive washing and drying, illegal entries, etc. There is also a high police presence here with at least one weekly. I'm just trying to warn people from making a huge mistake. You work hard for your money and deserve a quiet peaceful place to live, not what you get here. The CLV Group really doesn't care about how tenants live, only collecting rent! |
