| there is an upcoming food network "reality" show starring Chef David Burke and hosted by Ann Burrell at one of his restaurants, The Fromagerie. The show will be called CHEF HUNTERS.....IT IS ALL FIXED. The show taped this week (march 19-21, 2012) at the restaurant. The winner was pre-determined, and has been employed with The Burke Group for some time now. The premise of the show is that they take unemployed contestants and search for a new chef for the restaurant, this is not what happened. AND NOW FOR THE KICKER........IN ORDER TO GET HIMSELF A TV SHOW, CHEF DAVID BURKE FIRED (WITHOUT CAUSE) HIS EXISTING CHEF AT THAT RESTAURANT. THE WHOLE THING IS SOLEY FOR THE REASON OF TRYING TO PROMOTE BUSINESS FOR A DYING RESTAURANT. PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT!!!!! |

| i have friends living in that area...chef was fired because of incompetence and main reason why the restaurants business was falling ...you should not be able to send out uninformed information although i can imagine who the source of this article is. i was told the new chef worked at two restaurants in the last 4 years and has been on several radio and television shows like cbs television tony tantillos dining deals. |

| i know the new chef...in fact in the last 5 yrs he worked at restaurant mc in milburn owned by the coopermans and highpoint bar and bistro owned by two indian gentleman. neither was known by david burke. the new chef has been written up in food magazines, the ny times, the martha stewart radio program and cbs steve tantillo. rumsons fromagerie had been going down since the recently fired chef took over i wouldnt be surprised if that chef is the person writing this article i dont know anything about this show but who cares rumson needs fromagerie to go back to its old self and this new guy can do it |
