CHASE MORTGAGE/LBPS
CHASE MORTGAGE/LBPS I'M LOSING MY HOUSE BECAUSE OF CHASE MORTGAGE COLUMBUS, Ohio
23rd of Jan, 2011 by User999635

On September 2009 i was behind my mortgage with Chase for 6 or 7 months. We received a letter regarding the modification program so we decided to go head and keep the house. Chase sent me an agreement to pay beginning 10-1-2009 $1085 trial period for 3 months including taxes and insurance. So i submitted all the documents necessary and paid for three months on time. I kept checking on and off every months after that but CHASE always told me that i modification should be effective soon. So i kept paying $1085 every first of the month ( i have the receipts).

In the summer of 2010 i start receiving statements from Chase saying that my mortgage payment is $1529 and i noticed that my past due balance was getting higher and higher. So i immediately called Chase and again they told me that was just a regular automated mail and that once the modification will take place is all going to get adjusted. So i kept paying $1085. Middle of September comes and i received a letter from Chase stating that beginning October-1-2010 all payments should be made to my new servicer LBPS and that the loan will no longer be with Chase. Okay, October -1-2010i called LBPS and they had no records of my loan as no paperwork was received from Chase. When i asked about payments they told me to wait a week and it was no late fee for the first 60 days. On October 19 2010 i called LBPS again, and the song did not changed, still nothing from Chase, so they suggest to re-fax all the application for the modification program along with proof of insurance and the payment of $1085. I did that the same day. At the end of October of 2010 i received a letter from LBPS this time with a statement that my mortgage payment is $1529 and now my past due was close to $22000. When i question this situation they told me that they have no records from Chase of any payment made, and if i made $1085 payment and my mortgage payment is $1529 i would just keep following behind.. Hello?? That was my question from the beginning!!! So November of 2010 i decided to pay $1529 so i wont follow behind anymore and i re submitted my loss and profit to LBPS. AGAIN they told me to check in a week or two. December 2010 comes and i went to quick collect to pay my mortgage to find out that LBPS put a lock code and i was not able to pay. I called and LBPS told me that Foreclosure preceding was in affect and my past due balance was close to $26000, so they re-open the case and i re- submit all the paper work again including bank statements etc. January 2011 comes, and after few attempt made to get in contact with a loan officer at LBPS ( never could reach anyone) i find out that foreclosure date is set for September 22 2011. If CHASE would have told me that i was not approved for a mod program i had plenty of time to pay the regular mortgage and the past due balance, but now i am about to lose my house. I have a wife and a little boy i can't afford to be in the street, we have been here for 6 years and i really need someone to help me keeping my home!! Thank You
