here is my story, my name is Juan C Ramos, i owned a 2007 ford edge which i purchased thru chapman ford, on december of 2010 found out through chapman's service department that my car needed an engine replacement, i knew for a fact that they were going to say that the car needed the engine for the fact the car was not under the ford warranty, but because i originally purchased an after market warranty, which my after market warranty company approved anyway, in january 5th of 2011 picked up my car,of course a month later" i picked up my car, when the lot attendant brought the car out i noticed a large dent in my right passenger door which i called Bob Kisler the service rep ( biggest lyer ever", showed him the damages in my car, he told me to wait finally 35 minutes later the service manager comes out arguing with me stating the damages were not done by them, told them if they don't fix it that i was going to contact my attorney, finally after arguing back and forth, they fixed it, well this is not end, picked my car the next day found other problems, first problem my cars alignment was out whack, also before i drove it out their parking lot found out that they had my my right side arm control front end was damaged as well, which fixed anyway after i brought up to the corporate manager, finally both problems were fixed, took my out car two days later i smell something burning in my car inside of the engine finally my car dies, called the AAA, they took my down to McCaferty Ford which they diagnosed that alternator positive wire side was not installed properly by the technician at CHAPMAN FORD, called Bob Kissler explain to him what was going on, told him that my car was in shop again because of their lack service, again i got a bill from McCaferty ford for $460.00, Bob in Kissler in service said i needed to talk to his manager, talked to the manager once again he argued with me, told him that i had notes from the dealer stating what happened and what caused the damage to the alternator, he still argued, finally i left called Fords Corporate talked to customer relations they got my story three days i got the check on the mail from Chapman for $460.. plus 65.00 for the front end alignment. to all who see this, be careful when you have your car service at Chapman, they love to make money, not loose, they love to make up stores, not admit to their issues or lack of service, in my book i will never, never ever again have my car service there again...sincerly Juan C Ramos |
