I will have paid for 1.5 years for security service at a house I sold. I am paying $37.26 per month even though they do not offer their service in the state where I was transferred by my company. If they offered their services in Washington state I would have transferred service. They simply don't care they you are forced to pay for service at a residence you longer reside.

I do not like central security group at all I recently lost my job and could not keep up the pamt's I know that I owe the money and I intend to pay every last penny. They did not work with me at all and do not have provisions in their contract to deal with this type of situations. The moment I called and and stated that I did not have a job nobody cared to talk to me anymore. They have now sent me to collections and the collections rep is very rude and constantly leaving threatening messages on my voicemail which I think is illegal based on the FDCPA laws. My advice to you out there do not sign this 3 year contract once you cannot keep up the pamts. They dont care they will demand pamt for all 36 months in one pamt. I am learning the hard way... |

This company uses deceitful and deceptive tactics. They tell you that if you move you can get out of your contract by having the new resident take over the service or you can transfer it to your new location. Then when you move if it is in an area where they do not have or provide service they tell you you have to pay the remaining months left on your contract. It is in fine print in the contract. Then they continue to call you and harass you for the money on a service that they did not provide. I did not even use their equipment. It was my monitoring equipment, not theirs, all they provided was monitoring and they are still trying to get me to pay for services not provided. |

All alarn companies have contracts that spell out your (and their) obligations. You should read them. This company goes to the extra length of having a seperate document, "NO SECRETS", that you are required to sign that very specifically says you can either pay off the agreement, have the new occupant sign a new agreement OR have a free system installed at your new location...IF IT IS IN THEIR SERVICE AREA. Then they suggest you call them to see if they have service where you are moving. No alarm company serves every part of the US. No one. If you choose to move you have to pay ALL of your contracts, including your alarm bill. It's really simple and I get tired of people blaming others for their own ability to read a contract or act responsibly. The company does not use deceitful tactics, your just a whiner who thinks somebody owes you something for free. Grow up. |
