Central Hauling / Cal-Ark AEL Arkansas Leasing Equipment **Ripped Off and Left Hanging Dry** Little Rock, Arkansas |
14th of Mar, 2013 by User700501 |
To anyone who is thinking about leasing a truck and signing on with Cal-Ark / Central Hauling out of Little Rock,Ar Please do your research, talk to other drivers and read the reports on this sight and other driver forums. I started with these guys back in November 2012, I just returned my truck on March 13, 2013 cause from the very day I started in November I had not made that first paycheck. After my first load the truck started showing signs of a transmission issue, I was told to take it to a International shop to have it looked at, They couldn't"t find the problem. I was told from the mechanic that it seemed to be a TCU on the automatic transmission. (AEL) the business I was leasing the truck from failed to have the TCU replaced, Instead they had me hop from shop to shop and repairs was never made, This went on for 3 weeks. They told me that i didn't have to worry about the repair bill due to the state of arkansas lemon law. but in the end I did have to pay, I stayed in the hole from the time the truck was repaired to march 2013. NOT ONE PAYCHECK! I was living off of advances of $60 bucks 3 times a week. weeks after I questioned them on it and they blamed it on my speed. I was getting 6.1 - 6.4 on a average, every week I was running in the hole, I never got the negative below a thousand... I was getting great miles, 2800 to 3600 a week. So at a 6.1 to a 6.4 I should be making something right? they didn't think so but they never could give me a answer. Not only that, there trucks are priced way to high. My truck was a 2006 International 9400, with a two pedal automatic. The price to lease was $62,000... yea, so I did my own pricing and had the truck appraised. The truck wasn't worth 20,000 with the inframe, and new clutch. I was told the truck was worth that, due to what was in it. They will try to tell you that they handed out so many titles in the past year, but they will not tell you how much they made. These guys will also tell you that its not forced dispatch, well me refusing to take a load around the block got my fuel card turned off, and advances cut off. These guys are crooks in my book, If i was you i would go to a lot, get a bank loan, save your time and money or loose it all like I did... I am looking to file civil suit against these guys, and try to get what i lost into it. I was told that this was a good investment, and all it did was make me loose my ass. If anyone had this happen to them from the same outfit, or is going thru the same thing.. send your comment and contact me, |
