I bought this cruise for my honeymoon that for a time I was planning to do with my wife. I am from Brazil, and currently I study here on the Sates. My cruise was to sail on the 19 of December of 2011. I also bought the 2 nights satying at one of the Ramada hotel in Ft lauderdale, from the 17 to the 19. Two days prior to my embark, I called the customer service to rechek the program and see available tranportation from the hotel to the cruise. The following day I called them again to confirm that i was coming late at night on the 17. The day I wastraveling to florida I also called them. For me everything was set, and the cruise would be a good experience. However when I arrived at the Ramada hotel, I was told that the. ruise had some fire problems, and it would not sail unto who knows when. From that moment on I saw how poorly this company cares about its curstomers. No one was willing to help. Back in my room, I started to search google to know more about what had just happened. The fire happened on the begginig of that week, and I arrived on a Saturday night, and have been in contact with the cruise line ate least two days prior to that. They had my phone number, my e-mail, a website. Nothing was said about the inccident. The following day I came to their welcome center to try to get at least a refund for the Embarkation fee. They denied, and said he only thing they could do was to give me vouchers for another cruising date. I refused of course because I had no money to pay for another trip to Florida, and who guarantees that this old ship will be functioning next time? The only good service that i was offered during this occasion was through Delta Airlines. They offered me a discount on staying in a much better Hotel, since I was obligated to send my honeymoon vacations in Florida, intead of a Cruise. Bad customer experience, definetly I do not reccomend their services. I hope next vaccation will be more relaxing. |
