I worked for celadon for 2 years and had to get off the road and go local.when i wanted to go back over the road i chose celadon because i felt they were a wonderful company...not!!! on 8-31-11 i attended the orientation process again and there about 50 other losers there also so i was not the only dummy.
day 1..we spent the whole day watching videos until they decided to drug tests and physicals which was around 2pm.then u do the physical which is a joke then your drive test.
when i went to do the drive test i walked up to the truck and realized the drive test instructor that i will refer to from now on as mcfatass, was the same instructor that gave me the test 2 years ago.the 1st thing he said to me is "what the hell you smiling for" as if its against the law.so i ignored mcfatass.and continued with the test.
when ever we got to a light or intersection i had to ask him for direction since he was to bust listening to his ipod and texting.he was nasty and smelly and had the worst attitude.so when we got back to the terminal i aasked how i did and his reply was"i dont know yet!" as if there was something i could do to make sure i passed.mind u i have been driving for 10 yrs and 2 of them with celadon with no accidents tickets or incidents!
when we get to the terminal i report him to the orientation manager and he reports it to mike in safety who pretty much tells me i am a liar and believe his side of the story which is that i was speeding and wreckless.when i asked to see my score sheet from the road test you could tell he scratched out a lot and changed the original content.long story short i was sent home.when i was told i was going home it was 4:45pm and the office was closed so i did not get my medical card back from mike who i called the next day and was told he would over night it..that was 2 weeks ago!
long story short screw celadon i was their biggest advocate.
