I guess I should have known better to trust a company that if you do any research at all you can clearly see that they have at least five different addresses listed as offices for this "agency". But at the time i was at my lowest point and was desperate for someone to help me! Here is my story. At the time I became involved with the Casteel Agency I had been married 15 years and was very much in love with my wife. I had what I believed to be the perfect family, lovely wife three great children. One day that I will never forget my wife's sister called me and asked me to lunch. This had Never happened before. It was during this lunch that she proceeded to tell me that while I worked my butt off everyday my lovely bride was entertaining a retired gentleman neighbor from down the street. At first I was in total denial! I could not make myself believe what she had told me. Then completely out of the blue I got served with divorce papers. I hired a very well known female attorney and it was on her recommendation that I first called the Casteel Agency.
I have to admit after about thirty minutes on the phone I was convinced that in order to have any chance to continue to raise my children I HAD to come up with a substantial retainer and get him on the job. This is where it all goes south. From the day I wrote the retainer check I got Nothing but broken promises and in my estimation flat out lies!
After several weeks and two more checks written to this "agency" with absolutely no positive results I decided to bait him and told him my wife was going out and I wanted him to watch her and let me know what she did. Keep in mind she was with me the entire evening we had a birthday party for one of the kids and after it was over she and I cleaned up and spent sometime talking. So you can imagine my surprise when I got several calls updating me as to which club she was at and that they felt certain that had finally identified her new bf.
I don't know how people like this sleep at night!! This was my lowest point in my life and I feel like this group took my money, told me what I wanted to hear and from there on out did absolutely nothing to try to work my case.
I considered suing, I very much wanted to show my backside. But in the end I do believe in Karma, and I believe he and his whole "agency" will get what they deserve.
So moral to the story do your homework the BBB badge means nothing in my humble opinion. I asked around A LOT and found someone that did exactly what he said he would do and end the end helped my case considerably. Be careful use due diligence! Ask questions, and above all call any references given!

| This report is fraud with no listed complainant. The report originated from rip off report . The people that list these bogus reports refuse to remove them and shortly after they are posted, the person that the complaint is listed against is contacted by a company based out of Texas who offers to remove the complaint and restore your good name for $3000, 00. I have had this happen to me. My name is Jim Casteel and I run a very reputable Business. I challenge the author of this report to state his or her name, or at least describe the unique decor of the Casteel Agency's office. Had this person actual been a client, they would have been in the office at one time or another. You can see the same report at rip off report and read the rebuttals. These reporting sites require no type of verification to prove that the claims made against companies are legitimate and do not Identify the author. This makes for an easy way to slander or set back your reputable competition without consequence. We are in a business where gather evidence against people who are doing wrong and that often leaves them unhappy with us. |
