Career Solutions They post management jobs. Call you and make you think you are interviewing for a job and bring you in to try to sell you a service |

They advertise non-existing management jobs, call you and tell you they want to interview you, bring you in and then try to sell you their services. I wasted my morning and $20 of gas. Morally wrong to play with peoples hopes in this economically challenging times. If they figure out you don't have money, they will tell you you are not qualified, if they figure out you do, they will ask to for a second interview where you bring in your spouse or significant other.. All you get is a redone resume and some web site referrals to apply to... Someone needs to look at these people. They run out of a fly by night executive suite where they can look big but are not.. |

I am a spouse that came in on a 2nd interview and here is my experience. I was asked to fill out a spouse questionaire which I did in detail. When we came in to a very nice office in The Williams Tower in Houston, TX, so they looked legit.
My husband had told me he quized Mr. Allen on the 1st interview extensively about who paid their fee and he assured me that his response was, "the employer pays the fee and we wouldn't have it any other way!".
So I read the test results of a Myers Briggs test, the written report which they used my own words to regurgitate back to us and watched Mr. Allen point out buildings outside his window of the Galleria where he he placed people. One in particular, a woman who wanted to make $100k a year and he got her a $270k a year job...if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
Finally, he informed us that my husband would be turned over to a handler what all they were going to do to get him a job all for the retainer of $6, 000.
Please don't feel bad if you fell for this, my husband and I just happen to be on the lower end and mid-higher end of an IQ level and type that are incrdibly good at reading people and it was quite obvious this was a scam by then. Also, his lie about why they couldn't validate our parking ticket for a few measly bucks was laughable. So do yourself a favor and take this all into account if someone from Careerbuilder contacts you and the name of the company is Career Solutions - no matter which location they might be at becuase yes, I confirmed they are all connected. |

I had the same experience with Career Solutions located in the Williams Tower of Houston, TX. I can personally vouch for the legitimacy of these complaints. This company has a bad reputation by their former clients. There is not a one single positive review by anyone anywhere on the internet when I wrote this complaint. Do your own research and you will come to the same conclusion as me - SCAM!!! |
