CarChoice Sold me a $17,700 lemon vehicle via internet now I have to get a lawyer, vehicle was a flood car. norfolk, Virginia
10th of Oct, 2011 by User149446
I bought a vehicle from Carchoice after an online virtual tour. Salesman told me the 2005 chevy suburban was mint. I paid $17700 and had it shipped to me in NY. It arrived with ripped leather seats, bad fuel pump, faulty wiring, blown shocks and blown suspension computer. After paying $1750 more to repair, of which carchoice took two weeks to send $900 worth of parts, it was determined that vehicle was obviously in a flood as wiring is corroted, sand and water can be found in engine computer upload box, and mold all thru rugs and upholstery. Upon talking to sales manager Darryl Evans, I was told that I bought a used car and he wasnt spending anymore money to fix it even though it was under 30 day warranty. Two separate certified NY state mechanics, one being a chevy dealer agree in writing that this vehicle was "under water" and would cost more to fix and reupholster than car is worth. I have retained a lawyer in Virginia, am out $20,000 and still cannot drive vehicle. I also found that my salesman Mark Steward is on parole for rape 1st degree and cannot and does not hold an auto sales license. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM CARCHOICE!!!!!!!
