Capital Meats Liars, Bad attitude, used credit card without proper authorization. Internet |

I pulled up into my driceway to see he Capital Meats van sitting there, who arrived without my knowledge. I have bought from them two previos times spending almost $1,000.. Per purchase without any issues. I see three men getting out of the van, and I asked them if they could come back in two weeks when we got paid, Since we live pay check to pay check like most folks, I was unable to make any purchase at this time. The one man says "oh we can work that out, you dont need money today""We can give you the meat and you can post date a check or give us your credit card informtion". I told them I needed them to wait until December 16th. They said that was absolutely fine. So they come in and we wheel and deal which they offered an outrageous price on 4 cases of meat. We declined. It was out of our budget. After a few minutes he offered us 4 cases of meat that would be 2 cases of chicken, and two cases of beef for 699.00. Plus tax would be 771.00 We ask if they prefer check or credit card (to my horror I wish I would have given check) they acted rude and pissy! No manners. horrible attitude, at this point as we are finalizing the purchase, I almost said orget it due to nasty attitude. Guess he didnt make any money off that sale. Oh well! They leave, and about a half hour after they leave. something told me to check my bacnk account which had VERY little money in it. I was HORRIFIED to see that they hd run my card in after telling me it wouldnt go through until the 16th!!! I was in the whole hundred of dollars at this point. I immediately called my banks fraud department and explained what had happened. They told me is was considered fraud and to go to my banck and file a complaint. I immediatley cancelled my card. I have left five voicemais with the company and no response. I had written them via their wensite. and have sent a registered certifie letter to rescind ,my order. They state that if you want a refund you must send a written letter to them and must be recived within 3 business days of the transaction. I sent it off and it made it there before the time was up. I have not received any calls responses. I want my money back. DO not deal with there jerks. |
