Carlsbad 575-885-1316 NON-RECCOMENDATION: It is in our opinion that We would NOT recommend Mr. Bill Bynum or the use of BYCO VAN LINES of Roswell, NM for any type of service(s) due to lack of professionalism, mistruths, and deceitful business practices And that you seek the services of another company. NARRATIVE: We called Mr. Bill Bynum Owner of BYCO Van Lines, Roswell, NM to come to our home to give us an estimate for a move that we were planning out of state. He seemed very professional and honest at the start. We asked him what type of equipment he uses and personnel. He assured us that they have there own vehicles and dollies, padding etc. And he uses his own peopole to do the work, and that they were professionals and had done this many times before. That he is licensed and insured. We then had him give us an estimate for the move. OUR EXPERIENCE: BYCO Changed the loading date three times for their own convenience. Charged $1000 above the estimate.Mr. Bill Bynum (BYCO) promised to use their own trucks, padding and equipment, and instead ended up renting from U-Haul. He failed to bring the proper padding and loading equipment – using old equipment and the thin padding from U-Haul. Bill Bynum (BYCO) promised us a 4 hour load time and ended up having a 12 hour load time. BYCO Underestimated the size of the load and had to obtain an open trailer into which the rest of the goods were loaded and exposed to the elements. Bynum (BYCO) Workers loaded boxes upside down. Workers stood on our furniture to load and unload in the van. They failed to use proper padding to protect the furniture in sch a way that the solid wood pieces would not be gouged and damaged. Causing Damage to solid wood furniture, boxes and storage bins. There was also damage sustained to the house into which furniture was delivered. We requested that the BYCO employees be more respectful of the property, which only caused them to retaliate by being more rough. They also requested the use of our tools to unassemble and reassemble furniture. We filed an insuance claim with Mr. Bill Bynum (BYCO) for the damages that we had incured due to the negligence and mistreatment by his (BYCO) staff. We providing him with full documentation and photos. BYCO Never insured property with an independent insurance company he is self insured. Bynum (BYCO) Overestimated the cost of the insurance, which we had paid for. Failed to even offer to have damaged goods repaired. Bynum (BYCO) failed to even offer to have damaged goods repaired.
After stalling for over ten (10) weeks Mr. Bill Bynum (BYCO) has failed to pay our claim.
