I visited the BuyLowAuction.Com Web Site and mistakenly signed up for the services they offer. I did not realize, until it was apparently too late, that I could not get the money (I mistakenly paid) back. After realizing I had made a mistake (within seconds) I called the Company by using the phone numbers they provided on the web site. Here's the results of that conversation: I CANCELED THE ORDER/PROCESS!!! I DID NOT COMPLETE
THE TRANSACTION AND DID NOT AUTHORIZE ANYONE OR ANY ENTITY TO
WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT!!! THERE WAS A "CANCEL
BUTTON" NEXT TO MY BANKING INFO & THAT'S THE BUTTON i
CLICKED ON. IT TURNS OUT THAT IT DIDN'T CANCEL ANYTHING. COULD
YOU PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT NO MONIES ARE WITHDRAWN FROM MY BANK
ACCOUNT? I CANCELED THE TRANSACTION WHEN I SAW THAT IT WOULD COST
MORE THAN $159.00. I just called your listed phone number
(888-236-6918) and talked with Sara. She informed me that I DO
NOT GET A TOTAL REFUND. What I get instead is shafted out of
50% of my money. This seems totally unfair considering I called
and tried to cancel the transaction only minutes (less that 3 mins)
after trying to cancel it online (Most of that 3 minutes was spent
waiting for the CSR after I called). I should be able to get
the refund since I called only seconds after seeing that when I
clicked on "Cancel" it DIDN'T CANCEL
THE ORDER!
Sara
gave the name "Jamie Vegas" who's the "Customer
Service Manager". I asked to be transferred to him, but
was told to email the Customer Service Email Address and he would be
able to address the situation at his convenience. I never did receive a refund for the money I was out even though I contacted this company within seconds of the transaction.
With what happened I can not believe that I'm the only consumer that's had a problem like this with this company.
